As we all start to wrap things up for 2025, we are looking back and have so much to celebrate for this year! Shadowmatch was very busy, always working to improve your experience and usage of our products.
Let’s do a quick recap of the highlights!
1. Become a Coach Webinar Series
We kicked off February with a five-part webinar series to help individuals who were considering becoming a Coach. Our motto for these sessions was, “Don’t resign your day job to become a Coach. Become a Coach to resign your day job”.
Participants learnt where Shadowmatch Coaching fits into the different coaching models and how effective and easy it is to start using!
2. New Shadowmatch Welcome Page – Info Centre
In April we launched a new Shadowmatch login flow for all system users. The Info Centre serves as a training platform and information hub to ensure all users can unlock the full value of the system.
3. Stressmapper for Business
In March, we launched Stressmapper for Business. This application supports businesses to gain valuable insights and practical tools to help manage and mitigate workplace stress effectively.
Any business can provide all their employees with a personal stress analysis tool, and the leadership team can do group stress analysis of any working group or team in the organisation. The group stress analysis function provides a report with possible action plans to alleviate stress in all the different areas that need attention.

4. Automated Benchmark Clean-up for Reliability and Validity
In April, the Shadowmatch System got even smarter as valid benchmarks were automated. When you use your top performers to create a benchmark, the system applies a seamless and intelligent process to ensure your benchmarks are ready to use without manual intervention. This enhancement made the workflow easier and more efficient to use!
5. Skillsgrid Promotion
In September, we focused on mapping and understanding skills better. Our two-part working session series equipped our network of clients, consultants, and account managers with hands-on experience, showcasing Skillsgrid’s functionalities and value.
Skillsgrid has been upgraded to support a full, detailed skills search, making it easy to find specific skills among employees with just a click.
6. Enhanced Career Report
November saw our upgraded Career Report. The Career Report has been enhanced to recommend specific career possibilities tailored to each individual. It now also takes into account the changes expected in the workplace due to the rapid rise of AI.
For those who prefer listening over reading, the report now includes an optional voice-over reader that will read the entire report aloud.
The career test is available instantly, and Shady, our new digital assistant, is on hand to explain everything in detail.

7. Various System Updates and Enhancements
Our System Ninjas (as they are often referred to) really outdid themselves this year with all of the system updates and enhancements. Each of our Newsletters this year highlighted some of these enhancements and you have surely seen and experienced many of these yourself as you log in and work on the system every day. Bookmarks, editing worksheet invitations, radial results chart, and a visible stats bar, to name a few.
