The Shadowmatch Team had a truly exciting year with clients, new developments and a new look and feel for some critical landing pages. Certainly, the launch of our latest product, Stressmapper, at our very first HR Expo, steals the limelight, but let’s take a closer look at what we got up to in 2024!
LOOKING BACK...
The information library on the Shadowmatch website (www.shadowmatch.com) was rebuilt with easy access to an overview of what the Shadowmatch system does, highlighting the products that Shadowmatch offers for individuals and businesses.
The Personal Portal got a new look and feel, which we believe will contribute to an individual’s personal development journey. Every person who completes a Shadowmatch worksheet and receives a report, has access to their own personal portal. If you have missed this, log in to your personal portal now (go to www.shadowmatch.co.za) and see how smart it looks, what is available, and how easy it is to find your way around.
We also made it easy for clients to play in the Shadowmatch sandbox environment where the working functionalities of the system can be experienced first-hand. This is a safe space where you can ‘practice’ using the system without having to be worried that you will break something.
The highlight of our year is undoubtedly our first ever HR Expo, where we launched our latest product, Stressmapper. This inspiring event focused on the future of work in an AI-driven world. Pieter de Villiers, our Head of Research and Development, delivered a compelling presentation on the evolving role of AI in the workplace and its potential to redefine collaboration.
The event was a resounding success, packed with valuable insights, practical tools, and resources. The day left participants energised and excited, as we launched our latest product, Stressmapper (www.stressmapper.com). This is a short worksheet that helps the individual to better understand their stress and frustration points. It is currently live for individuals only and can be purchased from their personal portals. There will be exciting business developments in 2025 (see the ‘Looking Forward’ section).
Our coaching system (www.shadowmatchcoaching.com) has grown substantially. We have many coaches active on the platform and they are actively making a difference in the lives of many people. A new Shadowmatch book saw the light of day in 2024: Human Resource Management in an AI world, penned by Pieter de Villiers. This book is a guide to help business leaders understand and formulate HR strategies in a changing world of work.
The book is currently available in hard copy from the Shadowmatch Office at a cost and will be available as an eBook early 2025.
LOOKING FORWARD...
We are already looking ahead and have some new and thrilling things planned for 2025!
As always, the Research and Development Team works really hard to ensure all things Shadowmatch provides value. Continuous advancements to the current system, platforms and products are always at the forefront of our conversations but we are also looking ahead and developing for the future.
Something that we can’t wait to make live is Stressmapper for Business. This functionality will provide a business, school, college, or university the opportunity to send Stressmapper worksheets to any number of individuals. Once worksheets are completed, the organisation can group people together in groups (minimum of five), to see what their collective stress indexes are. It will ensure individual anonymity but provide valuable information for the business to support and assist with managing stress and frustration, taking a critical step towards ensuring employee wellbeing.
We are also working on an advancement in how the system calculates and compiles the benchmark profile. With this development the system will automatically adjust the benchmark so that it is the most reliable and trustworthy benchmark possible for the group of top performers it is working with. Details of this will be shared early in 2025.
We also want to highlight Skillsgrid in the new year and will be hosting a focused workshop to showcase how Skillsgrid works and what benefits it provides to businesses. Understanding and mapping your workforce’s skills is a critical aspect of any talent management strategy, and Skillsgrid can help you!
We will dedicate five weeks to supporting and activating coaches on the Shadowmatch Coaching Platform. If you are interested in becoming a coach, please make sure you catch our Events Calendar in January 2025 and mark the dates so that we can support you to change people’s lives!
Finally, we will be running quizzes again with every newsletter and looking forward to giving away more vouchers, surprise gifts and hampers in the new year to those who want to test their knowledge on Shadowmatch. Congratulations again to all our 2024 winners!
