Shadowmatch Team Analysis

Shadowmatch provides a powerful team analysis and team development function that will not only optimise the success of your team but also the success of each individual team member. Your team results will precisely show you the level of behavioral diversity in your specific team, but it is important to understand that any level of diversity has it’s own pro’s and con’s that can impact team performance

Doing a full analysis of a team at work is both a complicated and time consuming task.  The Shadowmatch Team Analysis functionality has been developed to enable teams to gain insight into the behaviour profile of the team as well as empower each team member with knowledge of how his/her behaviour patterns relate to the team. The system enables a consultant to facilitate such a session interactively in a face-to-face or virtual session.

Outcomes of Team Analysis Session

The team session will include the following:

  1.  Each team member will complete Shadowmatch and receive his/her full feedback report.

  2. The consultant will create the team profiles on the system.

  3. A team feedback session of 2 or 3 hours each will be scheduled, depending on the number of team members.

  4. During this session the team behaviour profile will be discussed in detail.  The shared strengths and possible weaknesses in the team will be highlighted.  Each team member will receive his/her results matched against the team profile. The results of team members will be discussed interactively during the team feedback session.

  5. The session will empower the team with knowledge of each other’s natural behavioural patterns.  This will enable to team to optimize their success.

  6. The second part of the session will be spent on looking at the sub-groups in the team.  Shadowmatch automatically identifies 7 sub-groups and clusters the team members into the different groups by means of their natural behaviour patterns.

  7. This information will empower the manager with knowledge of how each team member fits into the team and will enable the manager to allocate roles and responsibilities in a more scientific manner.  It also empowers team members to understand each other better and to tolerate certain behaviours in the workplace in a more mature manner.
